Ashfield Policing Inspector

Ashfield Inspector

My name is Craig Hall.

I am approaching 15 years of service with Nottinghamshire Police. I have spent the majority of my career working within the CID and Public Protection teams and I am now delighted and excited to be appointed the Inspector for the Ashfield Neighbourhood Policing Team.

Ashfield is a district which is close to my heart having spent four great years as a Detective Sergeant covering the district between 2012 and 2016. I have many fond memories of the area from that experience and I am fortunate to join a team of dedicated Police Officers and PCSO’s who are committed to keeping Ashfield safe.

Nottinghamshire Police have entrusted me to deliver the our vision of working with partners and the communities we serve to make Nottinghamshire a safe, secure place to live, work and visit. Ashfield is a diverse district which faces a range of policing challenges and opportunities. It is essential to work collaboratively with our partners and community to ensure we deliver upon this goal. It is my aim to further strengthen our established partnerships and community links and to build new ones which will deliver the best possible service for local and district wide issues.

Whilst it is not always easy to achieve, my team and I are totally committed to maintaining a local neighbourhood policing presence. This will enable us to engage with the entire community and help us to truly identify problems that are effecting us all. We hope the community will continue to work with us to solve these problems.

If you see us out and about, please come and say hello. Whether you want to report an incident, share your concerns with us or just have a quick chat, we will be pleased to speak with you.
